Bobby Wilcocks accidently runs over a vampire one night, but when he gets out of the car all that are left are black feathers. He drives home think that it was only an extremely large bird. But little did he know that this vampire was pissed… and cripled. Her name is Ashley Blair and shes a 1 billion year old Vampire. As punshiment for running her over she takes Bobby into a new world known as Transylvania. She tells him that he has to help her save her best friend… the moon. This is my interpretation of the bass line in one of my favourite Faith No More tunes, ‘The Gentle Art of Making Enemies.’ Managed to get this in only two takes, except I buggered up the end a little bit hahah. I used my recently purchased Schecter Riot 6 Wenge in this video. Like my other Schecter 6 string bass, I’ve loaded it with Nordstrand Big Singles 6 pickups and an Aguilar OBP-1 preamp, and with a bit of overdrive blended with clean running through my Eden WTX-1000 Navigator head, I think I managed to pull off Billy Gould’s tone pretty well Thanks for watching….Cheers!
